St. Mark's Court was constructed in 1993 on the site of the old church hall for St. Mark's Church located further down the road. The building consists of 15 identical 2 bedroom apartments each with a garage and allocated parking space. The building itself stands in landscaped gardens with private parking to the rear. The residents run the management company which controls the day-to-day maintenance of the building and communal areas. By car it would be around 10-15mins even in rush hour traffic. You could walk to the hospital by going up Leeds Road and taking Slinsgby Walk which is a lovely route through the Stray. Alternatively you could get a bus from the bus stop right outside.
